Preparation and Bridging Courses for Skilled Labour and Future Apprentices from India, who intend to work or train in Germany
Moderated by the iMOVE Team India, five German providers will present their preparation and bridging course solutions for interested parties from India as short pitches. All representatives of Indian industry and from Indian educational and training institutions are welcome to join the online event.
On 1 March 2020, a new law called “Skilled Immigration Act” came into effect in Germany. Now, it’s easier for skilled workers with vocational, non-academic training from non-EU countries to migrate to Germany in order to work. According to the new rules, those interested in receiving vocational training are also able to come to Germany to find a training place.
A great number of German training providers offer bridging courses to further qualify already trained staff and to prepare young men and women for an apprenticeship in Germany with regard to learning the German language and acquiring intercultural as well as specific professional know-how.
With this Online Presentation, we wish to facilitate new cooperation and business partnerships between German training providers and Indian partners. Five organisations will showcase their training offers:
As a platform for international skilled workers and German employers, adiungo trains graduates and professionals for the German job market, and enables a smooth relocation to and successful career start in Germany
2. BAMIK GmbH
Together with its Indian partner company, BAMIK GmbH will present its new webinar platform, a range of training courses specially tailored to the needs of Indian participants to prepare for work or study in Germany as well as a certified train-the-trainer course.
3. bbw International
bbw International will present their training package which includes selecting and preparing young Indians for dual vocational training courses in German companies, as well as placing them with suitable employers.
4. IIK Düsseldorf/Berlin
IIK Düsseldorf/Berlin organises the acquisition of the German language and the cultural preparation in the context of skilled labour programmes via a “hybrid” combination of local classroom teaching and a Germany-based digital supervision very flexibly – after departure and upon entry, while working or training.
5. Tonify – Language and Literacy gUG
Tonify – Language and Literacy gUG is a language school and charity that offers general as well as medical German language training in a virtual classroom.
In 10-minute pitches, the organisations will present how Indian participants can adopt new job compentencies and qualifications. After each presentation there will be a five-minute slot for questions.
The iMOVE Online Presentation will give you an overview of German training offers in the field of preparation and bridging courses.
