Learn about critical operations in creating data sets used to train machine learning models from Dr. Rahul Dave, Univ.AI’s Chief Scientist and former data science faculty at Harvard University in a free live class.
This class is about data that can be shared as a table. You have seen such data in spreadsheets, where data on one sheet can be related to data on another. We can describe such data using a common model and we shall see implementations of this model in python-pandas and in relational databases using SQL. The word relational describes how we relate these multiple “sheets” and naturally lead to the idea of joining data. These operations are critical in creating datasets that can be fed into machine learning and deep learning models.
Dr.Rahul Dave is a co-founder of Univ.AI. Before starting Univ.AI, Rahul was a lecturer at Harvard University. He was on the original team for Harvard’s famous Data Science course, CS109, and has taught machine learning, statistics, and AI courses, both at Harvard and at multiple conferences and workshops.
